Poetic Detachment Is A Fad
It's harmless reflection, I guess. I think that's what this is for. I promised that I would start practicing proper writing in order to improve my cognitive process, but I don't know how committed I'm going to be to this whole ordeal. Part of it is overcoming the self-conscious need to revise and cut and revise infinitesimal pieces of language until I can see them bleed and finally publish the bandaged & battered result. To stop infatuating myself with momentary phrases and nonsequiturs and actually build on substance. It's stupid to try to work things out electronically, but that's just a point of view. Besides, who really sits down and takes the time to read this crap anyway? Reminder: establish some sort of context next time.

It's like trying to explain how to diagram a misremembered sentence. Or asking someone to be a little less pretentious.
